诺克斯维尔(Knoxville) · 整套酒店式公寓 · 1室2床1.0卫 · 可住4人 · Downtown Forest Retreat
**CONSTRUCTION DISCOUNT* Rare opportunity to book this home at a discount and help a local Superhost recover from storm damage. Patio roof is being rebuilt. Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy; inside is perfect! * Wake up to birdsong at a tranquil forest retreat with city views. Cook dinner in the well-appointed kitchen and cozy up by the large screen TV. Swimming quarries beckon amidst Urban Wilderness trails. A short walk to the South Waterfront, or venture across the bridge to urban nightlife. This is the upstairs 1/2 of a duplex and the owner lives below. The apartment is bright and airy with sloped ceilings in the living room and bedroom. The rooms are decorated with original artwork and houseplants, with a forest and seasonal gardens outside. We live in the woods so you may have insect visitors. You may see none at all, but please stay elsewhere if you are averse to an occasional stink bug, house centipede or wood cockroach (they are big). The space is clean and beautiful. This is a 1948 home and many of the features are original, so expect some character! **We experienced a tornado in Fall '2023 and are still rebuilding. The far, covered end of the patio is being rebuilt, but the section of patio near the front door has comfy sofas, dining table, chic outdoor carpets and a grill, and the gorgeous city views are the same! The inside has been repaired and is better than ever. We hope that our discounted price will alleviate any inconvenience due to construction issues.**
Easily one of my favorite airbnbs I’ve ever stay in. It’s hard to put into words exactly how magical this spot is. A little piece of nature tucked away in a busy city. Great location with so much near by to do. Don’t wait book it now! :)
I was very pleased to stay at Sarah’s adorable little place. It was clean, super super cute little 50’s themed kitchen. The air conditioning worked fabulous (for those like me who live up north that is a must!). Sarah was very responsive when I had questions and super sweet. There is a little learning curve to getting in her driveway since it’s on a hill however, it took me only a couple try’s to figure out how to back in and then I was good to go. We easily made it in and out once I got that figured out. It feels very secluded even though you are close to the city. Lots of trees and greenery right outside the windows and front yard. Feels like you’re in the mountains. There’s a really cute coffee shop just down the street and an awesome pizza place too. Downtown Knoxville is not far and is just adorable! Loved the shops and the “Coffee and Chocolate” store. We checked out the books store and went to the movies while down there. At dusk people hung out in the market square.
This place is so cute and comfortable. The decor and variety of plants creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Sarah, the host, was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much!
The home is located in a wooded, residential neighborhood overlooking the city. It's quite picturesque with historic storybook homes as you continue up and over the hill. There are two apartment complexes located downhill from the residence, and a quaint main street district a few blocks away along the river with coffeeshops, breweries and restaurants, a salon, gas station, fitness center, an elementary school and a church.
Down the hill to the left you will find Chapman Highway, with several gas stations, drug stores, supermarkets and fast-food chains. A 12-15 minute walk across the river brings you to downtown and Market Square.
Note: it's quite hilly here and the road driving up to the house is steep, as is the driveway, and some folks find it easier to exit if they back in where they arrive.
Two parking spaces are available onsite, ask me about additional needs.
You will park in the upper driveway which is somewhat steep, so you may find it helpful to back in.

Hello! I love traveling, meeting new people, cooking, singing and plants. Before gardening for a living I worked in interior design, and I enjoy curating elevated spaces for humans to thrive in. This house was abandoned when I bought it. Turning it into the space you see today has been a labor of love, so I appreciate the support of guests like you! I live downstairs and look forward to helping make your stay a memorable and enjoyable one.
