M was a lovely and friendly host. No issues whatsoever with him. Unfortunately the room and house was disappointing. There are renovations going on and therefore there was a load of building material on the drive making parking difficult. The inside of the house was a building site. No proper carpets. There was no heating due to renovations and therefore had a musky smell. My room was smaller than imagined and unfortunately had a similar smell mixed with a smoking smell. There were stains on the floor and on the wall and one point I could see mould. I was encouraged to use the heated blanket and warmth was not an issue. However, I could not sleep well due to the smell. The house is next door to a petrol station off the high road so it was also noisy. And there are children living in the house which also made it noisy. The lock on the door did not work. I personally wouldn't stay here again as I was surprised at the difference between the pictures and real thing. But M was a nice host.

His wife was a very great host, very welcoming, if not for the construction work in the house, the host is the best.

Host and family are such lovely people. Had a warm welcome. My room was tidy and cosy as advertised, clean warm bed, enjoyed the optional electric blanket! Clean tidy house, had lots of space for food starage in the kitchen, bathroom was emaculate. Easily accessible , convinient house, with nearby restuarents, buses, garages and train staition. lots of free parking, and walkable area. Iooking forward to going back again on my next trip. Felt like a home, away from home. I would highly recommend . Thank you Mr M and family for such a pleasant stay. You are the best host l have had. Diana :)

M'a listing is exactly as described, however, as host M went above and beyond the expectation. I intended to attend a Coventry City game and didnt realize I needed a physical and not electronic ticket; M was able to print it for me, ensuring an american's first EFL match was success. The room is exactly as described: a bed in a small room, with bathroom access. It worked just fine for a solo traveler looking for a room without frills. The room was cold, however, the electric blanket on the bed more than accounts for the cold room temperature.
