Fantastic location , and great place overall. Totally private and quiet. No shops nearby so worth stocking up before you arrive. Host was excellent and responded quickly on any questions. Would book again

Very private mountain accommodation. It is well off the beaten path with great viewed. Ideal for a couple or small group who wants to get away on a retreat and spend some time away from Auckland. It’s a bit of a trek to get to but the views from the hot tub are wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans. The drive way is a bit tricky but not impossible. Make sure to stock up on food and wine before you make your way up!

Beautiful views, love the spa the location just brings so much peace. There was no outdoor furniture that’s in the photos thou. But other than that it’s beautiful and peaceful!

While the views are breathtaking and the hot tub is nice, we were overall very disappointed with our stay. The communication from the host was poor and delayed. Two evenings during our stay we had issues and messaged/called the host with no response for 12+ hours; one of these being we had no running water. The kitchen dishes were dirty when we arrived and overall the kitchen wear and furniture in the house seems cheap. The driveway is very steep and narrow as they say on the listing. There needs to be better lighting installed outside to allow guest to safely walk from the driveway to the deck of the house. We would not stay here again.
