There were so many little touches that made us feel welcome and eased our travels. We were provided with coffee, laundry pods (this is such a big deal, very few places do this and with lots of traveling, we had laundry that we had to do. No trip to the grocery store to buy a large container of detergent that we couldn't use), decent soap, shampoo, conditioner provided in tidy containers... etc. AND a lovely welcome gift of ingredients for S'Mores. Everything was laid out nicely and allowed us to relax a bit before rushing around for groceries.

Everything about this place is absolutely perfect. The house is beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean, and has an abundance of amenities. There are two very comfortable bedrooms downstairs plus an upstairs bedroom/bathroom suite. The kitchen is amazing and fully stocked, if you plan on cooking. The dining and living areas are just as nice. There is also a very large deck outside, but we didn’t use it due to the cold weather. But having the electric fireplace inside was such an amazing thing to have. The windows in the dining / living area are huge, very tall - with stunning views of the meadow next to the house. There is so much beautiful natural light coming in and it was always a great way to start the day. The location of the house is amazing - the downtown area of Rhinebeck is about a 2 minute drive, and it’s very centrally located to the entire Hudson Valley area. Maggie was a dream to communicate with and made everything so easy. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Maggie was very attentive and responsive. She took any concerns we had seriously and always went above and beyond to ensure they were resolved. Huge bonus, the property is private and beautiful. We felt right at home. Everyone travels to downtown Rhinebeck for food. If you stay at Flat Rock, make sure you go to Kip’s Tavern in the opposite direction. The town is super cute, and the food is outstanding.
