Beautiful area - our favorite was the private access to the lake and dock. There was plenty of room for a family of 8 adults to stretch out and not be in each others way. The beds were a bit uncomfortable. There was a problem with the internet and the host communicated the issue with us before arrival and worked with us to get a resolution. Would stay here again.

This rental had the two most important things for a lake vacation - it is directly on the lake and the house is comfortable. For that reason anyone who stays there is bound to have a good time, and we enjoyed ourselves. However, it was expensive - over $8000 for the week - and for that price I expected the house to be better maintained. The kitchen was not very well stocked; several of the windows did not have screens on them; the windows that did open, the sills were very dusty, pine needles etc.; the cushions on the outside swing were stained. I'm also used to having some sort of welcome booklet explaining things about the house, the area, but there was none. So, for example, we didn't know if we were supposed to recycle. Finally, in the middle of the week, a lawn service arrived, unannounced, to mow the lawn. It was very noisy and we had to clear out from the lawn while they worked. These are all small things but they add up and, again, for the price, I expected better.

This property was perfect for our family. The grandchildren loved the flat grassy yard and of course easy access to the lake for swimming. We all loved Wolfboro with the cute lakeside restaurants and shops. It was a great family week vacation that we will all remember.

The location was beautiful! The host was extremely responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time! We would rent the house again.
