The Balburnie Nook is a gem of a place to stay. Handy for Balburnie House but also for the little village of Markinch. Eileen is a fantastic host and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this wonderful property again.
An absolutely beautiful and comfortable apartment. Only an hour away from Edinburgh. Eileen is a very hospitable host and is very welcoming. We'll definitely be returning.
Lovely stay for being close to Balbirnie House. Perfectly described. Very clean and tidy. Great amenities. Nicely stocked fridge and breakfast bits. Very quick communication. No complaints at all and would definitely return.
Lovely place on one level felt like home away from home.Eileens family story was brilliant and everything was as she said it would be so happy it worked out for my wife and I visiting family.Local Hotel had a lovely Dinner menu and specials to offer.The big bonus was the Hotel was directly across the street which was very convenient.Thanks Eileen hope we left the place as we found it.Hope to see you again in the near future .Lance and Angela…
