Our stay was great, the goodies provided, including some freshly baked brownies, filled our tummies with warmth. Our dog loved sniffing around for ever. The fireplace helped us keep warm. The property is very big, hence your dog can enjoy a nice adventure sniffing around. The only thing, as noted in the listing, it’s not fully fenced hence our dog had to stay on leash to protect the wildlife (we even saw some rabbits!). Jacinta and Phil are lovely host and they are very respectful of your space while being very responsive.
Wonderful experience at the property lovely setting, close to Sale. Delicious complementary basket of food and drinks. All over a great place to stay.
The cottage is set in a beautiful farm setting, and there was a warm welcome for our arrival with a fire already lit. The house is impeccable and filled with love and care. Phil and Jacinta are the hosts with the most. Jacinta had baked the most delicious chocolate fudge which we indulged in over the whole weekend and a plentiful supply of delicious Gippsland breakfast goodies were provided, anything one could desire for a hearty breakfast. We only wish we had more time to explore the farm which is such a beautiful rural setting and backdrop to the cottage. A very relaxing stay in this soulful place with two kind and thoughtful hosts. Phillip and Jacinta warmly welcomed us and made sure all was well. Everything was enjoyable about our stay and we felt the most relaxed of all the places we have visited this holiday. The farm is beautiful - I would love to live here! We were very well taken care of with fresh seasonal produce, breakfast and preserves. The absolute highlight was the tour of the historic farmland. 自我介绍
I was born and bred in Gippsland and now live on a farm with my wife Jacinta. We run Black Angus cattle. We have four daughters, now all grown up and living around the world. We also have 5 grandchildren. I am a recently retired construction worker and love farming, gardening, bike trail riding, bushwalking and fishing. The last thirty years has been busy with our daughters doing Pony Club, Netball and Little Athletics. I have only just started to travel and enjoyed staying at Airbnb overseas, getting to feel like a local in new places and finding interesting things to do. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge of the area and the many activities that are available. I also hope to make your farm stay enjoyable and memorable. Our farm is beautiful and we are looking forward to you enjoying it as well.
