This place is stunning inside and out. The home was well decorated - it didn’t feel cluttered, and but was furnished enough to not feel sterile like some other rentals out there. Comfortable beds, updated appliances, and the outside space is incredible. Honestly, the pictures of the canyon are what made me notice this listing, and the reality didn’t disappoint. Coming from the East Coast, I was up early and caught the sunrise over the ridge every morning - that plus a cup of coffee is true peace. As for Justin, he was terrific and I’d rent from him again, without question. When we arrived, we discovered that the cleaning crew hadn’t been there before our check-in. Justin responded to my messages right away, had the cleaners come while we went out to dinner, and when we returned the place was spotless. And a few times throughout our stay Justin checked in to see if we needed anything. Look, things happen - what matters is how your host responds, and that’s why this review gets 5/5.

Coffee in the mornings on the deck outside overlooking the canyon, listening to the stream and the frogs, watching a hawk hunt at eye level… steps away from a hiking trail… what else would you want to know about the place? Fantastic setting, our favorite Airbnb in the area, and the hosts are absolutely top notch.

This is a great place to stay for mountain view’s and hiking. The back porch area is amazing, especially the pristine hot tub. This is a very comfortable home to stay at in Altadena. We would love to return again.
