Stable Cottage is a home away from home. Whether you want to snuggle up or go for lovely forest walks nearby then this is the getaway for you. Only 2 hours drive from Glasgow, perfectly situated for exploring Argyll and the islands.njoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base.
We enjoyed our short break in this lovely and cozy little cottage nestled in the center of Lochgilphead, close to all local amenities. The place was clean, tidy and warm on our arrival with a starter pack of bread, milk, biscuits etc left by the host. This cottage is a perfect base to explore excellent walks and fishing locations in the area. I would highly recommend this place to couples planning to visit Argyll.
We had a relaxing stay at Julie's house. The house is in a nice quiet area only a few minutes walk from the village centre and the sea front. The house was lovely and warm for check in and we were made welcome with some complimentary essentials. We would stay here again.
Incredibly peaceful place to stay while being in the heart of Lochgilphead. Friendly shopowners, locals plus a really high quality cafe (The Smiddy) close to the accommodation. Centrally located for any activity: we loved the Crinan canal area, Crarae Gardens by Inveraray, and the town & castle of Inveraray itself. Beautiful, unique, special.
Really can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. This is the perfect kind of Air B and B in my opinion – warm, cozy and well looked after. From the moment you walk through the door you feel at home and comfortable. Easy parking, clean, bed really comfortable and right in the middle of the town but with the added bonus of lots of birdsong and peace. When we come back to the area I will be looking for accommodation here first!
Lovely 2 night stay. Friendly and welcoming hosts. The cottage felt like a home from home. Everything I needed was there. All put together with care and attention to detail by the hosts. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, peaceful, and private. In a great location. What’s not to like? Nothing if you ask me.
