We had a nice stay at Michael's place! it is definitely big enough for a large group. there were a couple things that I wish I would have known before staying there. when we checked in the heat hadn't been turned on yet and didn't kick on for about an hour after we got there so it was freezing for the first 5 hours. after the heat was turned on it took hours for the entire house to heat up because it is a large house so it was freezing when we were trying to go to sleep. it does say washer and dryer in unit on the listing however we were only able to find the washer in the shed outside and we did not find a dryer so that was very confusing. The house is quite dated it could definitely use some updates and the water pressure in the upstairs bathroom is pretty much non-existent. We did have a good stay but I don't believe I would stay here again I just would want something more comfortable and with more convenience for what we paid.

The location of Lucan was fab. Everyone was very friendly and there were a lot of good pubs and restaurants (sabatini, Courtney’s, Kenny’s, residence karaoke, china town Chinese) we would definitely visit again. There is lots to do but it’s not too rowdy and is a nice walk away from the house. The house however was very very dated, there was a noticeable smell of damp (stale) which gave us all bad throats/coughs by the end of the trip. The house was quite cold too which didn’t help. There is a lot that needs updating to make the house more welcoming (light fittings, wallpaper, furniture). The facilities were also quite basic - I know it’s self catering but there were no tea bags, sugar, milk, coffee and only one roll of toilet roll. A welcome pack of basics would have been nice. There was also only one pillow per person and no obvious instructions for the fire or heating. However there was plenty of space. We would definitely visit Lucan again but would not stay here.

A large size house with plenty of space to spread out and contain the 8 in our party. The house was very comfortable and cosy and the instructions given were excellent. We had a lovely stay and slept very well in this quiet area, in Dublin as everything was very accessible from where we were located with the use of our car.

Nous avons loué cette maison (4 chambres double et 2 chambres simple) pour un voyage de groupe de 10 personnes. La maison est confortable et calme. Il faut compter une quarantaine de minutes pour aller de la maison au centre ville de Dublin par les bus C3 ou C4. L'arrêt Bus est à 5 minutes à pieds. Le rapport qualité prix est bien plus intéressant que le centre ville de Dublin (qui est assez cher) Je recommande cette maison pour un groupe qui souhaite visiter Dublin et ses environs et dormir dans un cadre paisible et calme
