I would say this is more of a hostel rather than a guest house. Our room was sharing a bathroom. One bathroom and a separate shower to serve up to three rooms. I wouldn’t have stayed here if I’d known that. There were rooms with private bathrooms so I suggest asking first. Choose to go to the hotel coordinates rather than the address - there’s a half a mile difference and the co-ordinates are more accurate. We arrived for a peaceful weekend but we didn’t get this. Next door kids were blasting loud music, drinking and created a general disturbance - this went on until 6am. They moved from their party and started using the hostels outdoor facilities - for us this was uncomfortable. Then…. At 9am the next morning the hostel hosted some kind of gathering and a load of people came through and the noise levels were uncomfortable again (again uncomfortable with a shared bathroom and moving around the facilities). And finally on checkout: we left our room at 10.33am knowing that check out was at 11am on the air b n b trip feature. I don’t speak Hungarian but the lady cleaning the property seemed to have some kind of problem with us. It was translated to me that she was saying we should have been out at 10am and that these were the rules… it is lucky for this lady that I don’t speak Hungarian because I would not have stood for this kind of disrespect to me or to my partner. I expect an apology when they have the chance to reply to this review… Pros: Gabor is a nice, welcoming host, It’s pet friendly, there is parking, the facility was clean, towels and linens provided, rooms have AC. Stay was ok, but we were disappointed. Would say 2.5 of 5.

The place was great. Very nice hospitality, beautiful quiet area nice siting place outside and a fire place. Great room, kitchen ad dining area. Very racomended. n
