This house was so peaceful, with a solid New England feel, and let our five adults and four young teens both mingle and retreat for quiet. The kitchen (serious cooks might want to bring their own knives) and dining room were big enough for everyone to cook and eat together, and bedrooms felt like home but with more comfortable mattresses. We kayaked and ate outside with s'mores in the fire pit in good weather! It's a short walk (or kayak) to Harrison for ice cream, and a short drive to Bridgton for movies, books, groceries and lobsters. Wifi was good enough to work remotely. Pretty much perfect for a relaxing week by the lake, meaning the kids were a little bored but grownups were very appreciative.

Terry and Mindy were wonderful hosts! From prior through booking right through check out, they answered any questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay!

This house is really special! So much room and all of the space beautifully appointed. It was perfectly located for all the places we wanted to get to. The kayaking was magical, the fire pit perfect and our lobster feast in the big beautiful dining room memorable! It is located right on the road which was perfect for our needs (senior driver with us who needed to be on the main road for easy directions) however if road noise borhers you at night...bring earplugs. If Terry will have us we will be coming back.

A huge shout-out to Terry and Mindy! Our stay was amazing! The home and property are beautiful, and made our trip to Maine for our daughter's wedding truly remarkable. We had one, small issue, which was handled swiftly. Great communication! Would absolutely stay here again.
