This rustic “little house on the prairie” is perfect for nature lovers and those who seek the peace & calm of the authentic Swiss countryside — complete with cow bells ringing all around! The accommodation is pretty basic, but provided everything we needed on our 2-night-stay. The bathroom is modern, clean, and even includes a relaxing rain shower! The water pressure is excellent, btw — I thought I’d include that piece of information, because that’s always important to me when booking a holiday rental (as both, my husband & I have long hair), and I hardly ever see these things mentioned in other reviews. Yes, there are rather a lot of insects around, due to the presence of the cows and nature surrounding the cowshed-turned-cosy-cottage, but all the windows are fitted with fly screens, so most of the little pests should stay outside if you don’t leave the front door open for too long. I’d recommend staying here if you have a car. If you don’t, you’d better be fond of walking! 😜

Hors des sentiers, le gîte de Sepp est superbe. Pour couper de la ville rien de mieux que de venir se reposer dans le calme des montagnes. Sepp a était très accueillant et chaleureux. Nous a recommandé des activités aux alentours adaptées à la famille. Petit plus , les vaches et leurs petits qui ont ravis les enfants ! Je recommande fortement

Great host, house on farm land which is very quiet. Very close to the train station. Very clean interior!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen man kann viele schöne Ausflüge in der Nähe machen. Trotzdem ist man einwenig abgeschieden und für sich. Sepp war sehr freundlich hat sich Zeit genommen für Tipps und Angebote. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort.
