It was better than the description. While the putting green was fun, I’m not sure I would put that in the description as it was nowhere near the top of our favorite amenities (at least for us). The villa is stunning. It is a working vineyard (the Amarone was amazing). Spacious, eclectic mixture of the 14th and 21st centuries (and everything in between). So many rooms, each with a distinct style. The kitchen was expertly appointed. The grounds were vast with lighted walking paths, vines and olive groves (we brought back the olive oil as well). Alessandra and Domus were professional, helpful, and communicative. This villa was the highlight of our European vacation. It will be a whole new experience when we come back in the summer given all the outside activities and eating areas. Don’t forget to splurge on the private chef.
