Ruth’s place was immaculately clean, exactly as described and conveniently located. The area is very safe and green. The kitchen has all the basics for cooking for yourself, and the coffee machine was well appreciated. The TV is big and comes with Netlifx. The beds were very comfortable. The space is connected to the larger house, but also very private. Thank you for letting us stay!

We had a great stay at Lush House! We felt very much at home. Brian and Ruth were very responsive as we had things come up out of our control. They graciously accommodated our needs. Nicholas and Lorna were also very helpful with information and availability as we had questions. The house is spacious, very well kept and in a great neighborhood. The beds and linens we’re comfortable and plenteous. The kitchen had all the basics plus extras to provide for our needs. I hope we get to visit again!

Had a great stay in this guesthouse. Lorna took great care of us and the apartment was spotless. The yard was gorgeous. The birds and neighborhood animals could get a bit loud but were fairly quiet at night. I would definitely stay here again!

Ruth’s place is peaceful and has an amazing atmosphere. It’s pretty close to a forest and I loved the sound of the stream nearby. The house itself was comfortable and the staff friendly and responsive.

We relocated to Kenya with my wife and my baby son and while looking for a house we stayed a month at Ruth and Brian's place. Ruth and Brian are amazing hosts, the communication was really clear and they are very flexible. They allowed us to have our 2 dogs with us. The house is beautiful in the Runda neighborhood close to Karura Forest and Village market. Lorna was the one managing the house with her staff Caroline and Nicholas and they were all super friendly and welcoming, always willing to help and ensuring our stay was a great experience. We really recommend the place for a nice stay in Nairobi. Thank you Ruth, Brian and Lorna :)
