The hotel Kangaroo with restaurant is hidden in the jungle, on the banks of a romantical feeder of the Rio Dulce. Enjoy freshly prepared food in private, cozy atmosphere. We will pick you up for free with our boat in Rio Dulce town (Fronteras) and help with directions or activities and connect you with other locals who will show you the highlights of our proximity. Hot springs, waterfalls, Castillo San Felipe, Finca El Paraiso, jungle hikes, to name just a few. No cars, no roads, just water. Perfectly situated in a mangrove forest, the hotel Kangaroo is a three-story wooden building, built on posts over the river. All private rooms are nicely decorated, equipped with mosquito screens and private bathroom with shower. If you want to escape noise and stay in tranquility, then this is where to be. Excellent and very friendly staff, always open to help will make your stay an experience. Bar and restaurant with daily special menus.

der bungalow war sehr privat und schön, alles war sehr sauber und es gab sogar warmes wasser in der dusche obwohl es nicht dabei stand. das personal ist super nett und das essen in dem restaurant schmeckt wirklich hervorragend! es ist ein super ort zum runterkommen und entspannen, die geräusche nachts im dschungel sind sehr beeindruckend. wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen :)
El horario de la lancha es un poco difícil, pero el hotel es bueno.

magic place hidden in the swamps, quiet and relaxing. the people working there are sweet and fun to deal with. a very positive experience. perfect place to spend a week, slow down and recharge batteries. again thank u to the crew!
Endroit très beau, à l’écart. Par contre obligé de manger tous les soirs à l’hôtel et la nourriture n’est pas la meilleure qui existe
