I decided last minute to book a small getaway trip since school was out this week for Spring break. It was the best way to relax and bond with my children. The lake was the most beautiful view every morning to wake up to, the house was cozy and relaxing.

Our stay at Michael's place was perfect! The house was cozy and inviting, with a bed so comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

Michael’s Lakeside House is the perfect place to get away with beautiful views and a super cozy home. Michael truly is a super host and is very friendly, proactive and super responsive if you need anything.

My wife and I were staying up there for a wedding in Pompton Plains. We had a four day weekend so we decided to make the most of it and stay for a bit. Michael's Lake House was a perfect location because it was near the wedding venue and pretty close to my parents as well. The best thing about the house was the stunning views of the lake. Waking up and looking out the window was amazing. The house was cozy and very clean. The amenities were easy to use and we appreciate having the Roku tv ready to use at night. I wish the weather cooperated a little more so we could spend some time out on the dock or on the deck, but if we come back we'll get another chance to do that. Mike was also extremely helpful with his specific instructions, clear communication, and helpful tips as far as restaurants to go to and things to do in the area. He has a very nice piece of property on Lake Hopatcong and we hope he'll have us back whenever we have to travel up North. -Ryan and Melanie
