I lived in the area for 6 years so I can tell you, this is an awesome deal for the area, especially when compared to hotels around the capital region, which can be either very pricey or very sketchy if affordable. Peaceful, private location but still close to restaurants on Richmond Hwy and convenient to Old Town Alexandria. Closest metro stop is about 10 min by car and always has parking available for cheap if you’re going sight seeing in DC. This was the perfect spot to telework for a few days and get good restful sleep. It’s simple but very functional and the host checked in with me a few times just to see how things were. Reminds me of a lot of the European Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. Fridge is a good size for a few days, as is the washer and dryer. Good water pressure and the shower gets nice and hot! It’s also nice having dedicated parking.

Great and quiet neighborhood. The washer and dryer were in the bedroom and the washer was very loud, but it was a cute little place. We had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again

Very clean apartment! Host was extremely responsive and helpful with check in. Apartment is separate from the house which makes it quiet. Kitchen is very small and simple, so don't plan on cooking entire meals. AirBnB is well worth the price and clean, but feels a bit cheap at times. There were chipped floor tiles and paint splatter on the floor and faucets. If you are looking for a clean place to sleep while you explore D.C., this is the place for you!
