We booked the place for two nights but decided to move out after one night because of the following: Major: - bathroom hot water did not work. Owner’s response on whasapp was not helpful at all unfortunately. Sorry, but he just did not seem to care. Minor: - paint stains on the floor - wrinkled bed and pillow sheets - not very pleasant odor, especially with the kitchen wardrobes and utensils - almost got locked out the first time we got out and came back home. This was because the door opening mechanism was not standard. We got help from the neighbor. Not sure if airbnb could have us a refund for the one night, because we had no choice but to move out early and move to another place, thankfully still along the same street. I think hot water is essential and an intolerable component of a stay.

Great location with walking distance to tram, restaurants and all Fatih attractions. apartment was cold with no heat when we arrived late at night. Serdar was not available but his assistant Kerim was at our reception. After a lengthy walk in the neighborhood Kerim found a small room for us to sleep. On the next day heat was working and we moved in. kitchen is poorly equipped but we were at the apartment mainly to sleep. Kerim went above and beyond to help with all our needs. Thanks goes to Kerim.

Serdar is a great host! Very helpful and responsive, could resolve any issue and suggest local places. We spent almost 3 weeks in his apartment, everything was awesome - great location near with sea, all main historical seesights and restaurants, new renovation in the apartment with seaview! Strongly recommend to stay here😊

Great location! Easy walk to all of istanbuls landmarks! stayed with 4 friends for new years eve weekend.
