Guest unit in a log home on Georgetown Lake. Ski at several near by resorts in the winter (Loveland 15 min, Keystone and Winter Park (45 min). Hiking trails await out the front door as well as fishing and sightseeing. Red Rocks Amphitheater is 35 min away. The unit has a separate entrance from the owner-occupied floor and features a gourmet kitchen, dining area and living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, laundry, parking for two cars, porch with outside furniture and a Traeger grill. Open floor plan with comfortable living area with TV, fully equipped kitchen with island for 2 and dining area that can seat 6. The kitchen features a gas range, electric oven, dishwasher and microwave. The master bedroom with king bed is spacious and includes an office area and sitting area and walk-in closet. The master bath has a double vanity and no-step shower. Guest bedroom is an interior room with California king bed and adjacent full bath. Guests have their own washer and dryer. Relax on the front porch with your first cup of coffee or after a long day. There is a Traeger grill for you to use. Two parking spaces are available on the property for guest use.

The house and location were exactly like the pictures. If anything I think its bigger. Everything was spotless and modern. The master bedroom has a large desk area to work from and there is a futon as well if you have little ones that want to sleep in the same room as you. The house had radiant heat and it worked quickly (this is actually a big deal in mountain properties as I have been in a few that take an entire day to warm the house). The surroundings are peaceful and the trail around the lake and into the mountains runs right in front of the property near the lake. The host emailed via Airbnb about a large eagle fishing over the lake and we were able to see this magnificent sight because of it. Hosts were very responsive and flexible. The directions are clear. Everything is clean, modern, and upgraded. I stayed with my wife, a teen, 3 y/o, and 1 y/o. Would 100% stay again.
This house was incredible. The views were beautiful and the house was so nice and comfortable. Katya was very responsive to messages and so welcoming. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again!
Overall it was a great stay. Clean and had everything need for our familly vacation.
Loved this AirBnB! Katya's place was so warm and cozy after being away skiing all day. It was the perfect place to come home and relax! Beautiful location right on the lake. Lots to do in Georgetown. One of our favorite memories was walking the path by the house/ lake and throwing snowballs! Would stay again.
Quick one night stay for three of us. It is even more spectacular than in the photos!

Georgetown is a friendly mountain community! When you walk outside you'll notice historic, Victorian homes built in the 1800s. You could walk/drive to the downtown area full of local bars, restaurants, shops, the library, tours, and the ticket office for the Georgetown Railroad. You are on the Georgetown Lake (which is adjacent to the Cabin Creek Brewery); its known for its trout fishing (both summer and winter) and is surrounded by a 1.5 mile hiking/biking trail. Ultimately, Georgetown is surrounded by a plethora of outdoor activities (hiking, biking, skiing, tubing/rafting, fishing, off-roading, etc).
