We have stayed at many cabins all over ontario and this one was one of our favourites. The lake was gorgeous, we enjoyed canoeing, and the sauna experience was perfect - especially in the summer being able to jump in the lake in between. We went in September and the mosquitoes were bad on the first night but the next two nights were pretty clear. Expect a camping experience, and come prepared: we brought our own bedding, towels, utensils, firewood, waster (2L per day), ice (for cooler), bug spray, and a citronella candle (came in handy!). Alec was super helpful, kind, and responsive. We are looking forward to booking our next stay here.

Absolutely beautiful place. Was nice to get away and disconnect for a little while. The beach area and pond was awesome!! Advertised as having utensils but make sure to bring forks and spoons as there were none. Also, make sure If you plan on having a fire, bring your own wood or stop and get some along the road. $20 for a recycling bin from host. We stopped at a place along the road and got 3 MASSIVE bags of hard wood for 5$/bag. There was also dead bugs or bug eggs all over the bed in the loft and on the sleeping bags provided by host. We had brought our own bedding but was still a little off putting. Overall, we enjoyed our time spent outside enjoying the surroundings. A little slice of paradise.
