Relax in our 6-person hot tub in the evenings or roast marshmallows in our backyard firepit, gazing at the stars above you. A private and charming getaway with the perfect combination of nature, lake and peace. Our Bedrock Cottage offers a great space for families and making memories. The firepit, hot tub, nearby trails, water sports and sunset views make for an unforgettable stay. The Bedrock Cottage is comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need (bedsheets, blankets, towels, cooking essentials, coffee, and tea). It is a short 2-hr drive from the GTA and only 10 minute walk to downtown Gravenhurst. Living Spaces Get comfortable on our 8 person couch with your family and loved ones, watching movies, your favourite show or sports team on our 85-inch TV. We provide access to Amazon Prime for all guests. It's also a fabulous spot to curl up with a book or have a drink, as you look at the beautiful view of tall pines and birch trees from the living room window. In the afternoon, the sun shines right on the couch, making it also a lovely place for a well-deserved nap. A wrap-around upper deck with comfortable patio furniture in the summer months is accessible right from the living area, giving you plenty of space for entertainment outdoors. The living area also includes a chess set, pool table, and foosball table for family or friend competitions. 😉 Kitchen & Dining The kitchen at Bedrock Cottage is a dream come true for the cook in your family. With all the appliances you could need and plenty of counter space, you'll be able to prepare your favourite cuisines easily. The wooden countertops and floors provide a warm and rustic feel, while the large patio doors offer nature views with a "foresty feel". The 8-seat dining table, and 2-seat island seating provides plenty of space to dine and chat. Outdoor Amenities: The lakeside of Lake Muskoka, with our private dock, allows for plenty of water sport fun. Muskoka chairs are available on our private dock, allowing for all afternoon sun tanning or enjoying some time by the water. It's hard not to be enchanted by the beautiful Muskoka-famous lake views. In the summer months, we have kayaks, a paddle board, and a petal boat for guest use. Explore this beautiful lake right from the access of this cottage. We also have a BBQ, an outdoor firepit, and an 6-person hot tub. We have plenty of room on our driveway for your vehicles. Gravenhurst is also home to many nature forest trails, some on the coast of the lake and others deep in the forest.
