Great place for large families like ours. Very well decorated and a pleasure to stay. Styled very well and obviously the host cares a lot about the space. Excellent location - close to everything but not in the middle of the tourist crowd. Our kids really enjoyed the place! Few points of feedback: 1. With such long power cuts throughout the day and night (up to 8 hours a day) - a power generator to keep the heat going in winter months is almost a necessity. The inverter only keeps the bare minimum lights and a power point in each bedroom active. The “bukhara” or wood fire heater in the room did not work well with our bedrooms filling up with smoke that leaks from the metal exhaust pipes. 2. Loud knocking noises at 3am almost nightly on the roof and dogs barking very loudly during the night. To be fair, hard to do anything about this as a large group of stray dogs hang around the house. 3. The caretakers are very responsive but sometimes hard to get hold of.

It was a nice cozy place near Nishat Bagh and Dal lake. 2 rooms are really good and the garden is beautiful with so many flowers. Caretaker Wajid was pretty helpful. Their cook was unavailable when we stayed, else that could have elevated the experience even more. Overall good experience:)

very well maintained lawn & greenery. but, some of rooms are small & noisy due to windows opening on the road, with lot of street dogs.
