This is an excellent location for an Alabama football game! It's only 25 minutes from the stadium and 25 min from Birmingham. No one bothers you and easy access.

We arrived at the property and looked around it seemed clean . We had been driving for 4 hours and were hungry so we decided to dropp the luggage and in the process noticed various things that shouldn't have been visible. Like cleaning supplies that were left out and a razor blade that was placed on a seat. We went for dinner and came back about 930 and this is when i saw a cock roach on the floor and my guests opened up the cupboards to find many more cock roaches. Called airbnb and they said to contact host which I did we cameto an agreement but unfortunately I was put out along with all of my guests. We searched for 2 hours to locate a hotel. I called airbnb and they that there was nothing more they could do. I never tried to contact host again. But for the 490.00 that I lost for checking in at 4 ish pm and the leaving by 10 pm. Seems a little ridiculous. I would not use airbnb again and definitely not stay at this location. I felt as though I was deceived about the beds ,the cleanliness, lake view,and they never disclosed that they were renting out their house

This home was a short 30 minutes from Tuscaloosa at a great value which worked out well for us. The property was clean and the owner was very responsive when any questions were asked. The property is a little off the interstate but was in an area with lots of other homes and we felt very safe.

Beautiful quaint place.. our host was fabulous. Leaving us with options for breakfast and very in tune with her guest. We came to go to Alabama game which was 30 mts away but still we were happy with location. Very clean and would definitely recommend.
