An exceptional experience from top to bottom. The beauty and scale of the space exceeded our expectations. The rooms and common areas were larger, and the beachfront more impressive than we could appreciate from the pictures, and somehow even more beautiful. We knew there would be a chef for meals, but we weren't expecting such an attentive and warm-hearted staff, available nearly 24/7. The trip from the airport (MBJ) is a bit over 2.5 hours, and the roads are rough (narrow mountain roads with a lot of potholes) - so rather than renting a car, we had the host arrange a driver in a roomy van who navigated them skillfully. We had thought we'd do our lunches out at the bars in town, but the midday walk in the heat is no joke. So, with little notice, they generously adjusted our meal schedule. It's not the cheapest stay in Jamaica, and it's a bit of a trek from the airport, but it is so very worth it. Our whole party unanimously agreed to come back around the same time next year.

We just came back from a 6 night stay at Steppa Villa. The property is beautiful , it is private and safe . What sets this property apart is the staff. They made us feel quite at home ! Even the property owners popped by to say hello which added a personal touch. A shout out to Mr Rowan , Mr Ricardo and Ms Larissa thank you for welcoming us and taking care of us. The food was exquisite!! Even my fussy eater 10 year old son finished all his food . The peanut porridge was so delicious! The property has 2 pools so we had plenty of ways to keep cool. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will be back!!

The Steppa Villa was everything it suggested times ten. It all started with the drive from Kingston where Donna called to confirm that we would still arrive as scheduled, only to find out that the GPS had taken us down an abandoned road - this will make good for future conversation when we look back at the trip and how much fun was had. Upon arrival we were greeted by Rohan who asked all of the relevant questions regarding our stay and ensured us that we were in his capable hands - he was spot on! The entire villa felt at home without any missing part. Donna checked in with us periodically to ensure that we found nearby Restaurants. If you do nothing, please listen to Donna’s recommendations, all locations food were exceptional, breakfast should get a notable mention because the food was easily the best breakfast we had in Jamaica. I would be remiss if I did not mention Captain Denis who picked us up from the house for a black river and Pelican Bar tour - nothing short of amazing!
