Helen is a warm and friendly host who welcomes guests into her home. I stayed just one night but was greeted with a friendly chat and a cup of tea after a long drive. My room was spacious and clean. As explained in the listing, the house needs a little TLC but that makes it more homely. I would happily stay again when next in Harrogate.

I stayed at Helen’s place from Wednesday afternoon till Saturday morning and thought it was great! She’s a lovely lady who had time for a brew and a natter which is always nice. I got a good tour of the house and demo of the shower (just how to operate it) as some people have struggled with it in the past, which shows she listens to feedback :) It’s a brilliant and interesting house which was warm and friendly. The bedroom is a really good size and the double bed was (imho) really comfortable and the pillows were perfect. I think Helen’s house is excellent value for money and very convenient for the conference centre or even the town centre, a nice walk down some cool backstreets and footpaths or 10 minutes more directly on the main road. Harrogate is a lovely place to visit as is Helen’s house! (Helen, you’re alright too! Thanks for hosting me) :)

Great place, stayed for 3 nights, very comfortable, lots of space in the bedroom, kitchen well equipped for making quick meals. Helen was very welcoming and helpful and lent me some plasters for sore feet which was very appreciated!

Great stay! Smooth communication, easy check-in, and accurate description. Helen was incredibly hospitable and made me feel at home. Highly recommended!
