I had surgery and needed somewhere to recover for 2 weeks. Felt like being home . Loved that it was maybe 15 minutes from downtown Du Bois. Had so much fun watching the goats and chickens next door!

We had a great stay at Mitch’s place! It’s definitely an older home, but everything was incredibly clean and we had everything we needed to stay there with 4 kids. You can tell the home is well taken care of and a lot of thoughtfulness went into being prepared for guests. We enjoyed watching the farm animals from the beautiful porch! We would definitely stay here again 🙂

Thank you, Mitch! This place was an unexpected jewel to find. My son needed to come to town to spend the weekend with friends, and I wanted a peaceful place to get some writing done. I found the perfect spot in Calhoun's Country Living! It was exactly as described, exceptionally clean, and so peaceful. I enjoyed seeing the goats and chickens from the porch and sitting in the spacious yard under the tree. Abundantly stocked and just the kindness of extras in the kitchen. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely come here!
