What. A. GEM!!! The Waldo area is quiet & peaceful, & the Writer’s Retreat is everything as advertised! Super clean, all our needs met, wonderful surroundings with mature trees & sunlight coming through the windows in the morning… Just perfect! Elizabeth could not have been nicer, & her communication was on time, clear & exact. The fresh-cut flowers on the coffee table were such a welcome sight when we got in after a long day of driving! Thank you for everything…we WILL be back!

So I travel a lot for my role as a regional environmental manager across the country. Like most of us that travel extensively I’m bored to tears with hotels. Finding an oasis like Elizabeth’s place in Waldo Missouri was exactly the reason I seek out airbnbs for my travels. Fantastic place. Great open space, comfy bed and a walkable community for beers and supper. Trust me. An oasis worth checking out.

This was my second stay here and again it was perfect. Elizabeth was flexible with my check in time and super responsive when I had questions. Absolutely recommend this place!

This bungalow is absolutely adorable. I love how it set back off the street with the big beautiful trees and the fire pit and the huge deck to sit outside the kiddos absolutely loved the loft upstairs. Such a beautiful home in the decor was beautiful.
