Caroline’s place was really good for my big family and dogs, plenty of room for all of us But wasn’t happy that we all had to bring bedding /put on beds and towels, very difficult for people that were flying re 10kg bags It’s not something you want to deal with when you arrive for your holiday But it didn’t ruin our holiday, but I will be more aware next time

The house is beautiful with nice secure garden ideal for the dog and children. Swimming pool is also secure and can be locked so kids can't get inside accidentally. Plenty of space in the house and nice bathrooms etc. It could have been cleaner. There was a miscommunication about bed linen which meant that we ended up without any. Easier to take your own. No towels either or any kind of welcome pack which would have been nice as we arrived quite late and there is no shop in the village. Host was on holiday so we couldn't communicate. The gate sticks and we thought it was locked but we just had to push it hard to get into the property. The electricity trips out a lot! Overall we had a nice time as it was very relaxing and quiet just what we were looking for but I think it was quite expensive given the lack of amenities and the inconvenience of the electricity tripping out every time we put the dish washer on.

Caroline was friendly and helpful. The house is ideal for a large group with plenty of space, and comfortable. The pool is great. Menil is an attractive village with the river a few minutes walk away. Recommended.

Lovely spacious house in a good location. The pool was clean and well maintained and was a hit with the kids. The patio area was a lovely place to sit out and eat and enjoy the sunny weather. Would definitely return.
