The place is great, cosy, tidy and it has everything you need, the most beautiful garden, and there are two cute cats hanging around the property. Marcus is always friendly and responsive, and it's such a nice gesture of him leaving breakfast supplies for guests to enjoy!

The apartment was well placed and ideally suited to our needs. Shops and supermarkets are a short drive away in Ellerslie and on Green Lane. It is a well thought out and equipped space and we had everything we needed. There are far reaching views across part of Auckland to Mount Wellington and beyond and the deck is a comfortable place to sit and enjoy Marcus’s lovely garden. It may not be good for anyone with limited mobility as there is a slope and a few steps to get to it but it is in quiet and peaceful spot. Cornwall park and One Tree Hill are close by. Auckland is such a big city with very busy roads but a short drive gets you to Ellerslie station where you can catch the train to many areas. Uber cabs are numerous and not too expensive.We also drove out of the city to some beautiful regional parks like Duder and Tawharanui for some great walks. Marcus communicated very well and he and his wife were very friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

Booked this Airbnb again for family visiting from Australia. Again, a wonderful and comfortable stay in a beautiful location close to Cornwall Park.
