A GORGEOUS COUNTRY setting to take in the sights & sounds of grazing cattle, and wild life on our pond, creeks, and land! CLIMB the 21 winding silo STAIRS to the “unique” UPPER LOFT experience! We’re located 10-15 MINUTES from the Foothills State Forest & Spider Lake Trails for ATVs, hiking, biking, snowmobiling, skiing, and hunting! There are 400 lakes within 30 miles of us for LAKE activities! We’re a short drive away from the infamous tourist towns of Brainerd, Nisswa, Pequot Lakes & Walker. *Lofty Expecta-INNs, has drawn a similar response from our many inquisitive visitors… “You wouldn’t EXPECT “this” to be inside the building, as you’re just driving by,” they say! *THIS is not a PARTY DESTINATION. We hold to a respectful, family friendly environment. *We have availability YEAR ROUND to accommodate the WINTER HOBBY and SPORTS enthusiasts! Our heated entry has plenty of room for your gear, clothing, and boots. And, if you need to do repairs on any of your equipment, our heated and spacious shop can be used. Lofty Expecta-INNs is heated with in-floor heat, a splitter on the kitchen wall and electric wall units in the bedrooms and bathroom. We use the ceiling fans to circulate the warm air. We also have an electric fireplace…it’s TOASTY! *We have ample parking on our extra wide, tar driveway. Additional parking, is north of the building on gravel…available if needed. We can easily accommodate vehicles with trailers, (SEE pictures). *Our expansive lawn, provides a space for your kids to run and play…and for your dogs…to exercise and play with our VERY FRIENDLY Aussie, named Darby! **We have a children’s exercise area with a kitchen and grilling play space. Children MUST BE supervised at all times and parents accept any and all risks in/on our trampoline and play area’s. *The welcoming fire pit has room for many onlookers…and we have fire starter and FREE firewood available for your cozy fire. With an adjustable grill over the pit, you can use your own charcoal to cook your favorite grilling meats or roast corn on the cob! We do have a Weber gas grill available as well. *Outdoor seating is set up for outdoor eating, coffee time, reading, relaxing, and nature appreciation! *The entry is a “shared space” with us, as it gives direct access to our PRIVATE SHOP. We would only use this entry as absolutely necessary while guests are here. There are numerous hooks to hang your things up and the benches provide a good space to leave your footwear under at night. This space may also be used to set up your own kennel and feeding for your dog. *Fur babies…you are allowed to bring two dogs (sorry, no cats or other species of pets allowed here). Your dogs must be well supervised and cleaned up after at all times. Dogs go where you go, when you go. * STAIRS. We have lots of them! And yet, with the chunky treads, roomy landings and iron hand rails…they are easily navigated. We have hardwired in night lights in the staircase walls. *Four security cameras are installed in and around the building. One is at the front exterior, overlooking the driveway. And one is in the silo entry, overlooking the entry and stairs. The other two are inside of our private shop, overlooking the contents and doors. *Bedroom #1 is to your left at the top of the stairs. This is the private, silo bedroom that has two closets with hangers and has a large built-in cubby for your storage needs. Open window breezes can be enjoyed at night, OR use the ceiling fan to circulate the A/C from the splitter down the hallway. *Our kitchen and coffee station, have most everything you will need to cook, store food, and clean up. YOU are the dishwasher! You’re required to clean anything that is used in the kitchen before you leave. The kitchen was furnished with 95% new supplies. Please, do not use plastic plates, bowls or storage containers in the microwave…we have plenty of microwaveable, and oven safe dishes to use. *The bathroom is equipped with bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. We supply a sample size Eco Botanics bar soap, body wash, body lotion , shampoo, and conditioner. There’s always toilet paper, tissues, hand soap, Dixie cups, q-tips, cotton balls and first aide supplies in here. This room can be used for a “private dressing room” when needed. *Our extra-large dining table will hold a crowd for meals, conversations, board games…and can be used as a “work space” if the call of duty dictates! Be sure to use the provided coasters for your beverages on ALL the wood surfaces in the Loft. *The cozy living room provides a space to relax, watch a movie, read a book, or listen to-or-make your own kind of music! The futon does fold out into a full-sized bed if needed. Bedding, is in the drawers below it. *The open concept (no door)…SHARED bunk room has 3 twin, and 1 full sized bunk beds. Bring your own ear plugs! Shelves with outlets can be used to set phones, eyeglasses and keys on. Luggage will easily be stowed away under the bunk beds, and in the space between the short walls and the end of the beds. *YOUR SPACE…will be an excellent reprieve to come “home” to at the end of your daily adventures, out in our north land! Whether it’s running the nearby state trails “your way”…or accessing a favorite, or new lake with your boat…or shopping at our EXCELLENT tourist shopping destinations in NISSWA, Pequot Lakes, or Walker…you will have a place to unwind, relax, charge up…and GO AGAIN! *We asked our family to help us name this space. The word LOFT came up in many of their suggestions. And the word EXPECT…was the common verbage describing many people’s surprise…at what they “didn’t EXPECT to see here!”Lofty Expecta-INNs, our NEW adventure…was born and uniquely named. Come on in…we’ll keep the lights on for ya!!!
