Rose's cottage was the perfect location for a stay in Kerry. Rose met us upon arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. Plus, she had turned the heat on so the place was nice and cosy for us. We were traveling with our baby and she had a travel cot set up and ready for him which was absolutely perfect. The place looks just like the photos and the bed is very comfortable. We enjoyed cooking and relaxing there each day. The location is fantastic - 20 min to the Gap of Dunloe and 20 min to the beach. On our last night, Rose lit the fireplace for us making for a warm, fall evening after exploring the area. We hope to return again soon to enjoy more time in the beautiful landscape.

Rose’s cottage met all the expectations we had. We loved the location on the Ring of Kerry - drive drive to the different peninsulas. She was very welcoming, ensuring we were comfortable when arriving lateish the first day (cottage was warm etc). Her dog Rua (sp?) is very sweet and welcoming. The cottage itself had all the amenities we needed and spacious. We would highly recommend Rose’s cottage for anyone who is looking for a quiet, private area. We also liked how close it was to town if we needed to get any groceries.

Just pick this place! It has it all and is truly a home away from home. We walked in and my husband immediately said, “Joy, you did really good on this one” I agree with his feeling- the place was everything described on AirBNB and more. The soothing decor, comfy bedding and towels, and complete kitchen that allowed us to cook dinner each evening with ease just like home. We didn’t have to wash anything before using it! Rose’s suggestions were spot on and we are so glad we followed her lead; Valencia Island with the tetrapods and light house, cliffs and views was beautiful. The drive through the Gap of Dunloe was amazing. It’s one of those places that is beautiful in the rain: the fog and waterfalls, and less cars was well worth the white knuckle drive. Rose was always available but never intrusive. Her dog Rua(?) was our happy greater when we returned home each evening. Rose is the first super host who demonstrated why she has earned that rating. You can’t go wrong here.

We loved Rose’s apartment! It was stylish and impeccably clean. We had everything we needed to cook including spices. The bed was comfortable and had nice linens. We received a warm welcome from Rose who gave us a wonderful cake plate. We loved the free parking and wished we could stay longer.

An absolutely wonderful property in a beautiful part of Ireland. We would definitely look to rebook Rose’s property if visiting the area again and is somewhere we will be recommending to family and friends.
