We had a wonderful family stay at Jo's cabin over Thanksgiving. Jo was super quick to respond and very accommodating. The setting is beautiful, and the cabin was perfectly cozy in the chilly weather. We loved the open living space for hanging out and playing games. We were also able to check out some nearby hiking/exploration at Chapel Gorge and Rattlesnake Mound. It was great to bring the dogs as well! It was the perfect getaway!

What a wonderful location. The cabin is back in the woods on a lake. There are neighbors but they're far enough away. The house was clean enough (a fair amount of dead bugs all over, old, full coffee cup in the microwave and the Keurig had the original filter in it still, yuck). Arrival was at night and neither the front or rear outside lights worked, so navigating with phone lights wasn't fun. Putting that to the side, it was a great experience. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. We were happy to see a tub in the bathroom that was able to accommodate both of us. We had a TV available for when we wanted to zone out but they made the smart choice of keeping it in the basement. We saw many deer on the property and really enjoyed the serenity. I'd visit again.

Jo’s cabin was even better than what we had hoped for!!!!! It was everything you would hope for out of a relaxing retreat and then some!! The cabin was beautiful….the scenery was breathtaking!!!! The bedrooms were so cozy! I even looked at the maker of the quilts and bedsheets so we could buy them one day! The basement was also cozy! Our adult children loved the space! My son, who has never been fishing, went fishing morning and afternoons and had a blast!!!! The local stores were accommodating and convenient! The dells are a hop scotch away! This was one of our absolute BEST family vacation spots so far! Thank YOU Jo!!!

Loved the cabin it was cozy and comfortable. My favorite part was the windows in the living room that faces the lake, such a beautiful view. we will definitely be back with our family.

This cabin was better that I expected. It has a quite spacious living room/kitchen area. The area around the cabin is wooded and felt very private. I'd recommend this place if you want a peaceful relaxing time.
