Superior Gateway Lodge's spacious Birch Suite has beautiful log beams and a leather-accented king sleigh bed for a very restful sleep. There are 2 sitting chairs, a pub table, and a romantic 2-person jacuzzi tub with shower for your complete comfort & relaxation. Experience all the North Shore offers, then come enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, relax in the living room with its awesome lakestone fireplace or enjoy our massive deck & cabana. Please note children under 13 or pets are not allowed. The Lodge is simply stunning, built with over 80 hand-hewn, locally sourced Pines and a matching garage to boot! Our 40 acres is a small sample of the majestic northern woods. We have a small pond with a fire pit to enjoy the night sky and roast marshmallows. For winter guests we’re <1 mile from a CJ Ramstad/North Shore State Trail entrance! We have lots of future plans for walking trails along an existing 1/2 mile access road to the back acreage so check back soon.

The lodging was fabulous. Enjoyed it immensely. It was a true godsend literally. Only had difficulty getting through the internet side with the Airbnb. The other couples staying were also great people that became quick friends
Beth , welcomed us early as storm was approaching . The log lodge was clean , beautifully decorated , delicious foods , beautiful flowers on the lovely hickory dinning table . Beth and Jeff are welcoming kind people. . The cabin is tucked into a beautiful forest . We’re so happy yo have had the opportunity to stay . Tommy and Donna

Beautiful lodge - inside and out. The property is gorgeous. Everything is cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the hosts are always available for any questions. This is more like a traditional B n B and is a great place to get away from it all yet be close to trails and two harbors. We had a wonderful stay.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Beth and Jeff pay very close attention to the smallest details. Place was incredibly clean and well-kept. The breakfast selection was great. We have already sent The link to friends who requested information. We are looking forward to coming back in the future. Thank you again Beth and Jeff.

We are 8 miles West of Two Harbors and the temperature can differ as much as 10-15 degrees warmer off the lake. There can be fog in Tow Harbors and sun at the lodge as our elevation rises quickly even 250 ft from one end of our 40 acres to the other.
Although you’ll need a vehicle to get here, once here you’ll want a mountain bike, hiking boots and snowshoes!

My husband and I recently moved to the North Shore from Colorado and we're thrilled to be back in Minnesota where we both grew up! Our kids are grown and so we're starting a new adventure. I've been interested find another location to expand on our first AirBnB in Florida. We are excited to relaunch the Superior Gateway Lodge on AirBnb.
