Very enjoyable place. Peaceful with beautiful surroundings. She is very organized and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would recommend it as an excellent place to stay.

We had a great time during our stay! The home was exactly what we needed for our family! Stephanie was very responsive! We enjoyed hanging out with the little ones, Fermenting Cellars Winery (recommended by host) and a day of boating on the river into the lake! Overall, it was great!

We had a wonderful time at the Rock River Escape! Great little house that has been updated right on the river. We had 5 adults and 2 children stay and it was very comfortable. Everything was clean and clutter free. House had everything we needed. Communication was very easy and the host was very friendly. We did bring a pontoon boat and we’re able to easily “beach” it at the house as well. Lots to do in the area!

Great as the first time was!! Our second annual vacation week at the Rock River Escape was all about relaxing, rebooting, recreation and remarkable times. The home is comfortable, with great river front views. There is ample room, with plenty of local activity and dining. The hosts attended to our questions with immediate attention. We tried a few new places: Lakehouse Inn, at the host’s recommendation, which has a great history, a tasting room/gift shop and weekly activities including a Sunday market with live music and artisans/crafters. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, very cool place, highly recommend! Lake Kegonsa State Park isn’t too far and has a beach and hiking trails, but make sure to check water quality conditions prior to going. Tried and true, Two Brothers in town remains our favorite of all the restaurants, every meal was really good! But the best time we all had was hanging out by the river in front of the property!
