The Old Cobblers is a lovely little cottage in the centre of the town. It’s perfect for a short break and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The gentle sound of running water from the neighbouring brook adds to the charm. Our dog loved watching the ducks from the upstairs windows. Neville is a very helpful and thoughtful host. Marsden is a great place to stay with plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. The glorious Marsden Moor is on the doorstep and walking along the canal is lovely too.

My son and I arrived after a rather more ‘rustic’ couple of days glamping; and couldn’t have been more delighted to arrive at The Old Cobblers; which felt like a tiny luxury hotel! There were even bathrobes and mini boxes of cereal! We really appreciated the care and attention taken by the hosts and enjoyed our time in beautiful Marsden; where we were walkable to everything. A really good Airbnb stay.

Very clean and tidy space. Neville has set the place up to feel very homely and welcoming. Nice village with really beautiful surrounding area. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Cosy and comfortable cottage with river flowing beside it. I know the village well so just chilling out with friends there, but hills and moors all around, great to walk eg by the reservoirs or on't tops. Lots of interesting history connected to the canal and woollen industry. Lovely little shops, cafés, homemade bakery, and a fantastic music shop (Hanson's).
