Carole was easy to connect with, the place was very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped, the cottage is roomy with a great balcony. It was a great stay.

This was absolute beautiful place to stay during our trip. I enjoyed everything provided in the kitchen and the washroom was very spacious. The living room was a bit smaller than expected from the pictures, but that was fine. The water in the lake was very dirty and Stillwater so couldn’t really use it for kayaking canoeing, because it would tilt to much. Besides that the views were amazing. She was an amazing host an answered all my questions or concerns. I just wish the water is drinkable since it was little difficult Plus, the one of the bike was broken and only one barely functioning bike. Really enjoyed our time and wish all the best to Carol and her Airbnb! Thank you so much for helping us enjoy our stay!

We loved our little cottage on the creek. The amenities were great! Made a lot of use of the kayaks. Both bikes had flat tires, but one of them was still usable with a pump. The coffee maker on site is a Keurig, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a good supply of kcups for our use. We did not have to use them, as we brought our own, but it sure was appreciated. My only STRONG recommendation is for Carol to invest in a water softener. The water is pretty yellow. We had to use the washer/dryer while there, and unfortunately it turned some of the whites to a very noticeable yellow. My brother lives on the same street, and has a water softener, thus does not have that same problem. Thankfully, Carol had a stand up water cooler for drinking/cooking purposes, which was awesome! Overall, a great week at a great cottage!! Don’t forget your bug spray!!!

1. The description did not mention that the tap water was hard and brown - this spoilt some of my clothes that I placed in the washing machine on the first night. 2. There was no clear indication of how to handle the empty bottles of the water dispenser especially foe those like me that does not use one at my home. I was asked by Carole for payment for two of them that I thrashed when taking out the garbage bins which I declined. 3. There is no pressing iron in the house which was strange. However, Carole responded and provided one within 15 minutes on request. 4. Some of the plates, spoons, knives, forks, bed coverings were not clean. I had to wash most of them before use.
