Beautiful location with all of the amenities! Everything and anything we could have needed was in the perfect place at this beautiful home! We would love to stay here again! The owners were very helpful and very quick to respond with any questions we had. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect airbnb experience! John and Kathryn are truly wonderful hosts who work hard not only to share their lovely property and but also to provide their guests with an unforgettable and magical experience. Their house is beautiful, the property is stunning, and the setting is gorgeous. They’ve gone to great lengths to attend to every detail: a perfect kitchen, kayaks for the guests’ use, lovely linens, great furniture, immaculate cleaning, even fresh ground coffee! Moreover, they’ve struck the ideal balance between perfectly helpful and attentive and also respectful of their guests’ privacy. We had an absolutely lovely 8 days of relaxing, exploring and kayaking at their place. We saw bald eagles and seals in the bay. We explored Southern Cape Breton, hunted for fossils in Arisaig Park, and enjoyed cooking lobsters, mussels, local mushrooms and great local produce in their perfectly appointed kitchen. Our visit was perfect (except for the mosquitos!)

Nice location, beautiful deck. Perfect kayaking location with several available kayaks. Two bedrooms with private bathroom, rooms including shower.

We were very pleased with our stay at Kathryn and John's cottage by the harbour. The views and the sunsets were beautiful. The location was less than 15 minutes from Antigonish by car, an easy ride to get groceries and go to great restaurants. There is so much to see within 1 hour drive that we could have easily stayed an extra week to explore more. Kathryn shared some veggies from her garden with us, and my partner went out sailing with their son one afternoon. We had use of many kayaks and had a great paddle out in the harbour. The kitchen was also VERY well equipped. The best equipped kitchen to date in my many times renting on Airbnb. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet place who likes the outdoors. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

We booked John & Kathryn's place for our parents to visit their hometown of Antigonish. We loved the location and the setting of the home, it is nice and private with a beautiful view, yet close enough to town. The house was perfectly stocked with all the necessities, and everything was immaculate inside. The beds were comfortable and the common sitting areas (including outside) were comfortable and spacious. John and Kathryn were extremely gracious hosts, with excellent communication before and during the stay. Lots of steep stairs in the house but that didn't stop our parents in their 80's from truly enjoying their stay. Will return and recommend to friends!
