Cosy apartment built with love in a lovely calm place

The house itself was very nice and new and it had free parking, but there was a lot of problems. First of all, we rented this apartment because from the AirBnB pictures it looked secluded, far away from anyone or anything and it would be perfect for our two dogs to run around off leash, which was not the case. It's sharing a fenced yard with another house where there are more apartments and where the host was staying. The sound insulation in the house was not very good so we could hear the noises and footsteps from the other apartment above. Also, anytime someone from the other apartment flushed the toilet, you could hear it like a waterfall in the living room below. We had a nice fireplace and enough wood to keep us warm. For some of the other utilities like hair dryer, sauna and ping pong table, you have to go to the owner to ask. One more bad thing is that the pillow cases in the lower bedroom/living room were dirty with red stains. the upper bedroom was nice and clean though it would oftentimes get to hot from the fireplace below. WiFi connection in the apartment was terrible, which was very important considering that there is no 4g signal in the area. The problems with he host started after we used the sauna. The water in the sauna shower didn't drain properly, most likely because of the hairs stuck in the drainage from the other visitors. She blamed us for flooding the sauna shower and after that she completely changed her attitude toward us, telling to put the dogs on leash and walk them outside the house grounds, which wasn't the case before, and which would not even be a problem if the area around the house looked like from pictures on Airbnb. Next night we called two friends over to play a board game. We were very quiet, not even playing any music when the host came and asked our guests in very rude way to leave, even threatening to call the police. All in all, it was not a very good experience, and definitely not worth the money.

The apartment looked very nice and the owners were very welcoming at the beginning. There is also a big garden, parking and sauna. However the house is divided in 2 apartments and almost everything is made out of wood, which makes every noise appear very loud. So every step that the neighbors take is extremely loud, talking can be heard as if people are talking next to you and the toiletflush from the neiughbours sound like a waterfall next to our bed. Without exaggeration. Our neighbours were a big group with children which might have added to the noise, however there are noises that will just appear loud no matter what. We did complain to the owners and they did apper nice and understanding. As we did not get any rest or sleep we decided to leave the apartment. Again the owners were understanding and gave us a refund. However after a few days we received a call from the owner asking us if we got the money and not to leave any review and telling us that he would leave us a bad review if we would do that and then changing to paying us more money for not leaving a review...
