Once upon a Tide is a dream cottage. A sweet three bedroom cottage with the all the comforts of home is the perfect getaway. Melissa made sure that all of our needs were met and she was just one text away. The cottage is nestled on a little lane in Alma and it is walking distance to the quaint little town. The nice part is that it is in walking distance to Fundy National Park which is amazing for biking, hiking or just a casual walk. I can’t wait to book this cottage again!

Melissa’s cottage was extremely clean & decorated so wonderfully! We really appreciated her local hiking recommendations & the hiking book in the cottage! The coupon for their local restaurant was a lovely added touch - the best chowder I’ve ever had! So close to amazing hikes, viewpoints, beaches & the beautiful Fundy Trail Parkway. We were provided lots of water for our stay, though we had to cut our stay short, we loved Melissa’s spot and can’t wait to visit the area again! She was a great host. Would absolutely recommend a stay here!

Melissa went above and beyond to make a stay at her place feel "special." From treats left out for us on arrival, to a great collection of books and games, to cozy blankets for curling up, and plenty of clean linens, we felt welcome and at home at her place right away. Her cottage is an easy drive to Fundy -- and a perfect place to spend the afternoon when it's a little too rainy for a hike at the park. Convenient parking right near the cottage door, within walking distance to some restaurants in Alma, and VERY clean. I really can't say enough. We will definitely be checking availability at her cottage next time we are planning a trip to the area.

Excellent location- walkable to all the restaurants and cafes in Alma. Spacious place. Easy check in. Clean space! Enjoyed the amenities. (NEspresso coffee, kitchen supplies, laundry on site- loved the wheel-able laundry basket! We also enjoyed the Tipsy tails restaurant close by! Great place to stay when visiting the Fundy national park and Hope well rocks!
