We had a wonderful week in this great property. Sue and Rosie were so helpful and friendly. The property was extremely well equipped and very clean and tidy. Having good sized saucepans and plenty of crockery etc made self catering a real joy. The living space worked really well for us and the children loved the two large boxes of Lego. The countryside is beautiful - masses to keep three small children occupied and exhausted by the end of the day. We would highly recommend Sue’s property for a large family gathering and we’d love to return. Thank you so much - we had a lot of fun and made some treasured memories.

We loved our New Year stay at Jacob's barn, 6 adults with 3 small kids. The house felt a generous size for us, it was great to have a big living room with a woodburner, as well as a separate (empty) room next door for the kids to lay out toys. Kitchen has a good sized dining table for enjoying meals together with plenty of room for everyone. The local area is beautiful, and lots of things to do on your doorstep if you love being outdoors, as we do! The pub just down the hill in Nether Stowey is really cosy. Great Wood is a short drive/walk away and feels like you could wander for hours there. We enjoyed discovering the rather spooky Dead Woman's Ditch on a grey day, and learning about the dark past of that place (appreciated having the local history books to read in the house), and spotting fossils at Kilve beach and further along the coast towards Hinkley Point. All in all, a great stay, and we'd definitely come back again!
