Very well maintained home with a beautiful lake view. Everything matched the description. The beds were so comfortable that our kids are now complaining about their beds at home. Owner was extremely responsive.

The location—truly right on the water—was beautiful, and a perfect place from which to watch the total solar eclipse. The house was pretty much as described, well-kept, and stocked with loads of silverware, dishes, glasses, etc for meals (we cooked and ate all meals in). The landlord was super responsive when we messaged, and quickly produced a grill and a new tank of propane so we could cook out one night. Two cautions to be sure this is a match for you. As others noted, it is only a few feet off the main road, and there isn’t much of a back yard (it sits about 20 feet above a steep drop to the lake), so families with young children should be aware. It’s a short distance from a great playground and park run by the town (< mile), but there is no sidewalk along the road there and parts felt dangerous to walk, even as adults). The stairway to the bedrooms is a bit narrow and steep, could be a concern should one have trouble with stairs. Overall, a great stay, thanks!

Absolutely perfect! Rented this wonderful house for Match Day 2024 at UVM and it was fabulous! Spectacular lake views, spacious and comfortable common areas, plenty of space for the whole family. Large, well-appointed kitchen had everything we needed for all our meals. Large dining areas with plenty of seating. Big bedrooms with cozy beds. Great location close to UVM, downtown Burlington and Colchester. Hosts were great, super-responsive and flexible. Definitely look forward to staying here again!

Awesome stay in an awesome place! And can we talk about the view!!! Only 12 mins from Burlington too! Would return we were so happy to have our fury friend with us as well.
