Teton View Cabin is located in the heart of Teton Valley. Designed by Mackay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects, the cabin sits on a unique site with 270 degrees of unobstructed mountain views captured with floor to ceiling windows. The cabin sits on 8 private acres covered with sagebrush and other native plants. It is a quick 8 minute drive to downtown Driggs, 22 minutes to Grand Targhee ski resort, and 45 minutes over the scenic pass to Jackson. The entrance to Grand Teton National Park is 75 minutes and Yellowstone is 90 minutes. Both are easy day trips. The layout of the cabin is a box within a box. The core box contains the kitchen, bathroom, and “bunkie” — a cozy sleeping room that kids will love. To one end of the cabin is an open living and dining area. At the other end is the master bedroom with king-size bed and a generous window seat/day bed. Floor to ceiling window walls bring the views into every area of the home. A generous sitting/sleeping plinth runs the full length of the cabin. Fittings and furnishings were selected with an emphasis on quality, design, and function. The well-appointed kitchen has everything you need—from morning coffee to an evening meal. The dining table seats 6 with full Teton views. After a day of activity we always enjoy curling up with a book beside the Stuv wood stove for a quiet evening in. Outdoors you find plenty of parking and room to walk and explore on our 8.25 acre property.
