We had some lovely days in Mazury. The old cottage is cute and provides enough space for up to 6 people (we were 4). It is located in a small and quiet village. The large garden around the house and the views onto the fields are really beautiful. There a lots of things you can do in this area of Poland: We went swimming in one of the lakes nearby (absolutely clear water - amazing!), hiking in the woods (e.g. a nature trail in Krutyń), kayaking on the river Krutynia, seeing konik horses and much more. Justyna and Ian are great and caring hosts. They were very friendly, responsive and sent us a lot of recommendations.

Ein herrliches Stückchen Erde!!! Ein fast naturbelassener Garten, eine idyllische Ruhe und ein herzallerliebsten Häuschen. Am Fenster sitzend könnten neue Bestseller geschrieben werden oder einfach nur Gedanken. Das abgeschlossene Terrain war für unseren Hund ebenfalls richtig Urlaub. Die vom Gastgeber empfohlenen Unternehmungen waren allesamt genau richtig. Die Kommunikation äußerst angenehm und serviceorientiert. Danke für Alles!

Es war eine ganz bezaubernde Wochen bei Justyna und Ian. Die Masuren sind wundervoll und der kleine Ort perfekt um abzuschalten. Die Ruhe, die man in Glogno und an den vielen See drum herum, erleben kann ist ganz außergewöhnlich. Die Zeit läuft viel langsamer dort und die eine Woche dort kommt einem wie zwei vor. Justyna und Ian sind die perfekten Gastgeber, mit denen man unheimlich viel Spaß haben kann. Sie haben uns mit vielen Tipps und liebevollen Zeichnungen Hinweise gegeben, wie man auch die kleinen versteckten Perlen in der Ungebung entdecken kann. Die Unterkunft ist ideal für eine Familie, die auch mit Hund anreist. Unsere Hündin hat die riesige Wiese sehr genossen und wäre am liebsten noch eine Weile dort geblieben. Das Cottage und der Garten sind ganau so wie es das Foto mit dem Regenbogen verspricht. Das Häuschen ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. ... wie gesagt ... alles in allem ... ein perfekter Ort um einen unvergesslichen Urlaub zu verbringen :) Vielen lieben Dank an die Beiden - Wir werden so bald wie möglich wieder kommen :) ----- It was quite an enchanting week with Justyna and Ian. The Masuria are wonderful and the small place perfect to switch off. The tranquility that you can experience in Glogno and on the many lakes around it is quite extraordinary. Time moves much more slowly there and one week feels like two. Justyna and Ian are the perfect hosts to have loads of fun with. You have given us many tips and loving drawings, as well as discovering the little hidden gems in the area. The accommodation is ideal for a family traveling with a dog. Our dog really enjoyed the huge meadow and would have loved to stay there for a while. The cottage and garden are exactly as promised in the rainbow photo. The cottage is very lovingly furnished and nothing is missing. ... as I said ... all in all ... a perfect place to spend an unforgettable holiday :) Many thanks to both of them - we will come back as soon as possible :)

There is calm and space at Justyna's and Ian's place. If you want to unwind, leave the noise and rush of everyday behind - that's the place. Surrounded by nature, with abundance of birds and stary skies at night, it provides idilyc scenery. The cottage has everything one needs, plus it takes you back in time a bit, as ground floor rooms still look exactly as they did back in the day. It feels like walking into a scansen, which is a unique and amazing experience in itself. Justyna and Ian are the greatest hosts one can wish for. Fully in tune with their guests needs they will leave you space to do your thing or, if you will feel like it, they will be a true pleasure to be around. We count ourselves lucky to have gotten to know them. Hopefully our paths will meet again. All we can say is: do not hesitate, go and visit this magical place tucked away in the middle of one of the most beautiful parts of Poland.

This place was everything I was dreaming of and a bit more. The cottage has all the charm of a 100-year-old house and still with modern comforts. It was especially nice with all the antique furniture that reminds you of the history of this part of Masuren. The surroundings with the patio. big garden and view of the meadow is fantastic. Sitting on the bench with a good book, coffee and having that dreamy view in front of you, having the occasional stork or crane flying over the meadow, was just magical. The cottage is situated on a small road with basically just cars from the people living in the small village of Glogno, so the place itself is very silent. At night time, there is just silence and a starry sky which is something you really appreciate when come from a busy city. A walk away you have a beautiful lake to go for a morning or evening swim, and plenty of other lakes nearby which you can reach by car. All the lakes in the area are very clean and have crystal clear water. The lakes and the rivers are also great for kayaking, which we would warmly recommend for the stay in Masuren. There are really good restaurants in the area, especially in Krutyn where you can local food and awesome venison burgers. :) With a car, you also have loads of interesting historical sites, towns and villages to visit (Orthodox churches, Teutonic castles, monasteries and of course Wolfsschanze). The hosts, Ian and Justyna, are the best Airbnb hosts I ever had, giving us tips and advise on things to explore and do. This couple were going out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, and we even ended up having some nice board game evenings with dinner together. :) Now, on the way back to Berlin it feels like we could have stayed another month at the place with all the things to do and enjoy. We will without doubt be coming back to this cottage (including some nice board game evenings on front of the fire place).
