The home is on a quiet family-friendly cul-de-sac, four parking spaces are available on the property. Trader Joe's, HEB, Central Mkt., every kind of shopping is in the neighborhood, and a direct drive from the airport. You will want to rebook after your stay! This home has been revamped: new floors, appliances, paint, fixtures, furniture, art, linens, and an amazing game room that hosts a semi-professional 14' shuffle board, and games for all ages, and a unique bar, "Fam Cave," describes it best. Each room has a unique theme and is clutter-free. Cul-de-sac, four parking spots on the property, giant backyard deck, backs to dry creek/green belt, creating the feel of being secluded in the country, while less than a mile from civilization! A Capitol Metro bus stop is 100 yds from the home, and *Route * is a short, direct ride to downtown. Iconic restaurants, shopping, and music entertainment is at your fingertip! The Cozy Westlake Stonehouse is a compact package of all you really want and need!

This was a cute little place! She was very polite, responsive and wonderful for talk to. Her place is just like described and she had lots of extra things you might have forgot to pack, which was a nice touch! We really enjoyed hanging in the garage playing games. We would definitely recommend!
We have never stayed at a Airbnb but its going to be hard to beat her lovely home.
Don’t look at mire places! Just book this one and you won’t be disappointed! We came here with another couple and truly, we had a blast. There’s plenty of room in Mary Lou’s super clean duplex. The outside area is beautiful and peaceful and quiet and still not far from eateries and stores. We loved the game room. The floor in there is gorgeous! Axe throwing and shuffleboard after a glass or 2 of wine?! What’s not to love? Lots of other games too. The beds were super comfy with high quality linens. Big thick towels in squeaky clean bathrooms. Mary Lou is really nice. Easy to deal with and was quick to answer questions and help with recommendations to restaurants. I told her we weren’t leaving! But she made us go and we sure hope she’ll let us come back. Great place! 10 stars!!!
Amazing stay at Mary Lou’s on the west side of Austin! Quiet cul de sac, comfy beds, and spacious accommodation. Fantastic outdoor area with seating, as well as a game room! There is a grocery store and strip mall with great restaurant options just a half mile away.
Mary Lou’s place was perfect for my Bachelorette! The backyard is absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed coffee on the patio every morning. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable too!! Plenty of space for the 6 of us, and the games in the garage were an added bonus. My girlfriends surprised me with prerecorded videos from my fiancé & we were SO excited to see the TV had screen mirroring, ahaha. The Uber rides down town were affordable and close. Would absolutely stay here again!

In the heart of Westlake, EISD school district, grades K-12, one of the highest acclaimed school districts in the State. Quiet and safe neighborhood, excellent amenities within a 3-5 mile area. Trader Joe's, HEB, pharmacies, drycleaners, hospitals, dog parks, canoeing, paddle boarding, bicycling, running, walking at Lady Bird Lake, a myriad of excellent restaurants nearby. Convention Center, Austin City Limits, Festivals, many less than 5 miles away, i.e., downtown Austin area. Zilker Park, ACL, kite contests, Barton Springs, the Infamous Broken Spoke are all less than 2 miles away. 78746, 78701, 78704... Bingo, you won the jackpot of darling locations!
OH, and a Capital Metro Bus stop (Bus No. 30) is 200 yards from this home and a direct route to the downtown area, a serious PLUS vs. scavenger hunting for high priced parking in the downtown area during major events!
Parking isn't bad in Westlake/Rollingwood. A Capital Metro bus stop is 200 yards from this home. Bus No. 30 is a direct ride to downtown Austin. Mopac and Loop 360 are easy access and good thoroughfares, minus the morning and afternoon standard rush hours to and from work. Austin Bergstrom Airport is 15 to 30 minutes away, again, depending on traffic, but an easy, direct route from this home. A lot of people ride bikes and scooters to and fro, but I'd be conscious of cars. At the home, you will have two outdoor parking spaces in front of the double garage doors and street parking.

I grew up in El Paso, Tx, received a track scholarship to UT Austin, arrived in Austin when I was 18, and it became my home. I joined AirBnB during early Covid, but quickly closed down prior to my first booking. Now I'm back to share my completely revamped home. My goal: Provide an A+ experience for guests in the highly acclaimed 78746 neighborhood and in the duplex where I raised my children. (I live next door.) .
