Seaspray in Pitenweem is a great location, right on the harbourside where you can watch the fishing boats come and go. The directions took us straight to the door; we hadn't realised that the flat is on the first floor, up a curving staircase - we probably didn't read the description properly :-). No problem for us but might be tricky if you have mobility issues. The house manual is a based on an App which should work off-line but didn't seem to for us; when we established an internet connection it was fine and informative but you might want to take a note of the WiFi code before you leave home because the mobile signal in Pitenweem is a bit hit-and-miss. There are a couple of good restaurants and cafes; we tried the Dory Bistro and Clock Tower Cafe (lovely breakfast). We were blessed with great weather and we had a very relaxing time.

Loved staying in Seaspray, unique location in a character apartment. Lovely walks around towards West Braes Park to west or Anstruther to east where there is more going on than in very quiet Pittenweem ! The apartment is well equiped, oven takes a bit of getting use to and the age of building means while the plumbing works well, it comes with some unusal noises. All good.

we had a great time at this beautiful flat. very comfortable beds and beautiful en suite shower. the oven takes a very long time to heat and there was significant work going on in the next door flat. we were warned about this but it did go on till 8pm some nights. I'm sure this won't be the case for other renters and without that it would have been very peaceful with beautiful views. can highly recommend the cocoa tree cafe!

We loved staying here with our two young girls! Beautiful modernized, eccentric and charming place with views of the ocean and fishing boats. The waves literally crash on the side of the building which is pretty amazing. The girls loved skipping rocks and looking for sea glass right across from the property. Great location as it's so peaceful and quiet, across from a pier and only a minute walk to the amazing Dory bistro for dinner, and a 4 minute walk to coffee and breakfast! Don't miss the Cocoa Tree Cafe if you love waffles, crepes or chocolate!!! ...And make sure to ask for the key to the cave. It's just a dollar and you take the key to walk down the street and let yourself inside a cave located in the center of town. -- A fun little adventure for sure! The village of Pittenweem is sweet and enchanted and may have been our very favorite stay in Scotland! Gillian's place could not have been more perfect and there's a washing machine that's not mentioned...

Myself, my Husband and our friends had a wonderful weekend in Pittenweem. The house was everything we expected and more and we felt very at home there. Will definitely be back.
