Enjoy the silence in the woodlands, chances are that you will not meet anybody. Enjoy the unique character of the daylight provided by the Nordic sky. Have a swim in the nearby lake. Once back try the sauna and cool off under the outdoor shower. On cold days, place a couple of logs in the fireplace and fire it up. Enjoy and relax inside or outside with panoramic views of the surrounding meadows, streams, lakes, and forests present from each part of the house, creating a generous feeling of both open space and intimacy.
Interested in nature?
You are surrounded by Denmark’s largest continuous woodlands and one of the country’s largest continuous inland EU protected conservation areas for birds, wildlife and plants. Outside the door, look for the kingfisher. It lives here. The black woodpecker likewise. The osprey is a frequent guest and nested here 2 years. Try the birding site at Kloster Mølle (3 km) – close to where the white-tailed eagle nests.
Longing to see the starry sky?
Long time ago you saw the clear star-studded sky, experienced moon light casting shadows and the milky way? Or wish to amaze your children with one of these experiences? Discover It from your bed, the terrace or a night time walk. Come outside spring/summer.

Go fishing in the lake that you overlook from the house or one of the numerous other lakes and streams in the area,
Interested in history?
Discover the traces from the past in the landscape which are especially rich and concentrated in this area: several monasteries (2-5 km), runestones (2 km), battles in the bronze age, ww II airfield, a.o.
Want to explore water life?
Take the canoe and serve lunch at the lake or catch your lunch. Want to go further, take the kayaks (3) to Denmark’s largest continuous in land waterways linked by the Gudenå.

Want cook your self? Ask us for good game meat and local produce. Want to try local chefs and their hospitality? The nearest treat is only 5 km way.

You reach the house via a 1 km private road which is untarmaced, but is accessible by all vehicles.
