We had a good stay at the horse barn! We loved the beautiful setting and the horses. The apartment is very cool and a smart use of a stable! It is well set up and very stylish. We also enjoyed eating outside on the picnic table and used the grill. I would hesistate to stay here in the summer, as temperature regulation was hard. We followed the instructions and Abby’s advice after I asked but the units just don’t work like they should. Thankfully, it was spring and we didn’t need to adjust much and could open the windows.

Abby's place at the barn was wonderful! Very warm, cozy and inviting. Everything was clean, well maintained and comfortable. The outside surroundings were absolutely beautiful! It was a gorgeous spring weekend with all the flowers and trees in bloom. We really enjoyed walking around the property. Our golden retriever made several horse friends through the fence! We prefer a quiet, peaceful, private environment and this definitely delivered. Downtown Winchester was a short, easy drive and The El Centro Mexican restaurant in old town was outstanding. As a host Abby, was very pleasant to communicate with and responsive to our questions and needs. We look forward to staying here again, possibly in her other property, which would allow for one floor living, and looks fantastic too. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect location for a mini getaway. The property is beautiful and loved the close proximity to Old Town Winchester.

Wonderful stay, beautiful scenery and very close to grocery stores/restaurants in Winchester. We plan on staying again if we find ourselves in the area again!
