Everything was as expected. Thank you for everything.
I absolutely LOVED my stay here. Such a great location, great atmosphere, and great space. Views were amazing. Super clean and cozy. Feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere but really you aren’t far off the beaten path so it’s very accessible to most everything if you were to need anything. There are other houses on the property but you still get PLENTY of privacy you would want/need. It is set up in a great way to allow that. Jayme and Doug provide very clear and helpful instructions for check in as well as give recommendations for things to do around the area. Just follow the Google map location they give you with check in instructions and it takes you straight there. It couldn’t have been a better getaway!
Jayme and Doug have transformed the high desert of Northern New Mexico into a traveler's paradise! The location isn't right in town, which we wanted, and it's breathtaking! There's a stone labryinth on the property, with Buddha at the center, as well as Buddha enshrined in altars/nichos all along the property. There's a BBQ grill at every spot, as well as a fire pit, and a communal area to meet the other guests, and a hot tub for the more adventurous souls! Hidden hot springs are just a two mile drive to the river, and then a short walk from the parking area. We saw Big horned sheep! Jayme and Doug's Hideaway would be great for folks travelling in a group, or if it's just you and a friend and your two dogs, looking for rest and relaxation after 5000 miles of travelling. It was still a little chilly while we were there, but Rainbow Connection was a great tiny home that was so cozy we didn't want to leave. They have put in blood, sweat and tears, to create joy for all who stay! Book it!
My stay at Jayme and Doug's tiny home was perfect. I liked the secluded, peaceful location and that the home is dog friendly. The home had everything I needed for my two night stay. Jayme and Doug are friendly, thoughtful, professional host. I would not hesitate to book my next Taos visit with Jayme and Doug.

I really love to go camping first and foremost. I have taken my camper and traveled the country with my wife. In 2015 we purchased some land in Taos and put our Airstream out there so we would have a place to go stay as it had become our favorite place to visit. We have since moved to Taos and love living here. There are so many hiking trails, and activities we can do that are so close. There is skiing, horseback riding, mountain biking, river rafting, and so many hiking trails, and campgrounds all within an hour or two from Taos. We love the idea of Tiny home living and so we decided to add a few more units to our land. We are happy to share our little piece of the Land of Enchantment with other people.
