Calascio · 整套民居 · 2室2床1.0卫 · 可住3人 · Stunning Calascio in Abruzzo, Italy
This has to be one of the most amazing places on earth! I invite you to share my home in beautiful Calascio, in the fantastic surroundings of Abruzzo. Around Calascio are other fantastic villages such as Rocca Calasio with its old settlement, its impressive old castle and monastery and the charming village of Santo Stefano di Sessano. The impressive Campo Imperatore plateau is also nearby, which is part of the Gran Sasso e Monte di Lago National Park, an area also known as "Little Tibet". The house is situated in the stunning village of Calascio which is situated on 1250 m, deep in the heart of the Apennine mountains inside the Gran Sasso & Monti della Laga National Park, in Abruzzo. Just a few km from the historical Rocca Calascio where you can access unlimited hiking areas and also enjoy good food and wine. Also another few km away from Calascio is the charming village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, where you can enjoy first class food and culture, much thanks to the establishment Sextantio Albergo Diffuso.
Vittoria è stata molto gentile e sempre disponibile. Ci siamo sentite a casa e torneremo volentieri in futuro. Grazie di tutto!
Very lovely home in Calascio, a perfect base to explore the beautiful surroundings. The house is tastefully designed and furnished and has a lot of charm. If you’re like me, a sleep mask will come in handy. Maria is very nice and communication is easy and pleasant. Vittoria was great and helped us settle in.
Beautiful place, Maria and Vittoria were wonderful and super helpful. Had a special time in Calascio. Thank you!
The people in the village are wonderful and will welcome you with open arms. Just go down and have a drink and interact in the local bar on the main road.
From Rome it is about 2h-2.5 h to reach the destination (driving towards and past L´Aquila). It is wise to have a car (can be rented at the airport) to travel around and explore all the small villages that are dotted around in the area, with its fine wine and food (that of corse all is locally produced). Cycling is also a good way to explore the area, and of course also hiking. To the Adriatic coats it is about 40 min, if you feel for a swim in the ocean.
自我介绍
I am a Swedish architect, textile designer and artisan and a true globetrotter. I love space, structures and patterns, and I love to travel. I spend time in Italy and Bali every year for the beauty of the culture and food, the people, the art and the architecture. They are my two favorite places in the world. I have built some personal and creative places and I invite you to share them with me. I hope you will enjoy the stay!
